Job Summary

 

RYZE is seeking a Sr. Copywriter for our in-house Creative Studio. As a Sr. Copywriter you will develop insight-driven ideas with specificity and polish. You are versatile, have great instincts, and know how to craft inspired, integrated content. From insight-lead ideas to memorable hooks, social and digital content to big budget productions - you bring an inspired sense of tone, craft and storytelling to integrated campaigns. You are a team player by nature, but capable of soloing on creative sprints when needed. 

 

In this role, you’ll need to excel in developing and driving best-in-class integrated content across film, social and digital. Your work should positively challenge traditional media and social platforms, and even the brief itself, to create memorable, relatable and relevant campaigns. You will thrive at building internal and external relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the work delivers to the business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Art Directors, creative leadership, production and cross-functional team members and stakeholders to develop and execute integrated campaigns across film, social and digital
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and tone across all touchpoints. 
  • Write scripts, social copy, headlines that resonate with target audiences and align with brand strategy 
  • Ideate and develop evergreen and campaign content ideas tailored for specific channels
  • Co-lead, along with Sr. Art Director and creative leadership, the creative process from ideation to final production, ensuring a high standard of quality and craft
  • Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to iterate on copy based on performance data
  • Stay current on tone trends and competitive copy tactics across the DTC landscape


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience in a marketing or content creation role
  • Strong portfolio of inspired integrated campaign work
  • Demonstrated expertise in advertising fundamentals, brand development and storytelling
  • Deep understanding of voice and tone, and the role copy plays in brand building
  • Ability to concept and write quickly under tight timelines
  • Skilled at collaboration with art directors, designers and producers
  • Bonus: experience in CPG and/or D2C brands
