Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting sharp, culturally relevant copy that fuels our organic social channels. You’ll own the voice of the brand in everyday moments—writing captions, scripting videos, ideating content, and helping shape what we say, how we say it, and when we say it. This isn’t a direct-response role; it’s about building connection, community, and cultural relevance through words. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and brand strategists to make the internet feel RYZE-aligned, scroll-stopping, and fresh.
Key Responsibilities
Social Copywriting & Voice Development
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other organic social platforms
- Maintain and evolve RYZE’s social voice to feel human, witty, smart, and culturally current
- Collaborate with designers and video editors to ensure visuals and copy work in tandem
- Script video voiceovers, lo-fi reels, or storytelling pieces that bring content to life
Content Strategy & Ideation
- Partner with the content team to brainstorm social-first ideas, formats, and series
- Translate product, culture, and customer moments into relevant social content
- Stay in tune with internet culture and emerging formats to help the brand show up in real-time moments
- Write post copy that matches different content types—from brand education to product fun to light humor
Creative Collaboration
- Work with the brand, content, and influencer teams to support holistic storytelling across social
- Contribute to campaign brainstorming and social rollout planning
- Track post-performance in collaboration with content leads and apply insights to improve tone or style
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in copywriting, social media, or content strategy roles
- Strong understanding of social platforms and content styles—especially TikTok and Instagram
- A clear, confident writing voice with an instinct for tone, timing, and brevity
- Experience writing for brands in wellness, food/bev, or lifestyle spaces (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with trends in internet culture, meme formats, and conversational writing
- Highly collaborative with the ability to take feedback, work quickly, and ideate as a team
- Bonus: experience with video scripting or content planning for creators
