Overview:

We are seeking a Sourcing Manager or Analyst to support and optimize our supply chain and logistics operations. This role will focus on supplier sourcing and evaluation, The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a deep understanding of sourcing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and co-packers to ensure favorable terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ensuring alignment on production schedules, quality standards, and cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to streamline sourcing processes.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing, procurement, performance.
  • Support inventory management by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Assist in risk management by identifying potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analytics.
  • Sourcing or purchasing experience in food, supplements, CPG sourcing, & procurement preferred. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience in international trade (import and export) preferred. 
 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in procurement, logistics, and operations.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Willing to travel 1-2 times a month. 
    • For trade show and vendor visits
    • Travel may be international
 
  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, or a second language an asset
